Made it perfectly obvious he only wants to do empty houses. After promising all, then deciding everything I had chosen was terrible and shouldn't be done how I wanted it, talked over, and down to me constantly, stinking my house out with the smell of wet, dirty dog, I eventually had to ask him to go without finishing the job.

  Quoted for job plastering had been done to a wall weeks earlier turned up 2 weeks later wall still had not dried out could not start work left heater since they had the radiator removed turned up 3 times on 3 separate days to start they had unplugged heater wall had still not dried .Due to time constraints I had to leave the job to somebody else otherwise I would of been late to start work on other jobs on here We work to start and completion dates with all our customers we do need to control drying time

  And yes the heater did come from my dogs room as a favour to help dry out walls and yes i did refuse to paper over damp and wood chip ceiling paper simply because water marks would of come through paper and the ceiling paper could potentially fall off or leave wood chip impressions poking through All would of gone wrong at my expense and yes I am the decorator

  I went to finish this room myself, only to find the lining paper that he had put up was coming off in places, and that was on the walls that hadn't been replastered. The rubbing down hadn't been done properly, and where I had asked for the tops of the skirting boards to be squared off, they were paper lined up to on a curve, so I have had to redo it. If this is professional, then bring on the amateurs!!

  Job barely started not surprised it had not stuck down entirely doesn’t have a chance to dry thats why I called it a day and left wasn’t continuing on a job that was made impossible to finish within a reasonable amount of time,or prepare properly you refused to listen to professional advice demanding I paper over paper in damp cold conditions ,more than one wall had damp, not to include the plastered wall ,just proves the ceiling paper will fall off needs heating ,stripping i still would be going there now

  Totally unreasonable you want it done your way and when it goes wrong you blame the tradesman I am ultimately responsible for the job that’s why I left you were given a fixed price quote with options you refused the preferred methods and cost after I booked a week of my time to complete the job you didn’t have the decency to leave the heater on to dry your own walls out
