George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Only two companies expressed an interest in my exterior decorating job, the first being situated +/- 50 miles away which, logistically seemed less than ideal and certainly not local. The second, Haus Company, was closer to my location and was awarded the job. The team of two, Robbie and Paddy, worked hard during a torrid heatwave and completed the work in 5 days as planned. Following some work done successfully in 2022 by this company, I reached out to have some similar work done in 2024. However, I paid a deposit for the work, the job was never started, communication stopped, despite me reaching out via phone and email, and I never received my deposit back. Highly disappointing after a great experience the first time round. I would not recommend.

Tony was the only tradesman to reply,he sent a picture and a quote via text which was fine but told him I would get back to I'm when I had other quotes. I contacted him today to say I didn't want a upvc door I preferred wood and needed new frame so he said he would call this afternoon to have a look at the job as he was in the area but then he messaged back to say he had to go to another appointment and hoped I would get the job with another tradesman which were both checkatrade so will use them

Very friendly always on time, excellent on electrics but also did some tiling for me which he is not so good at. To be fair his price for the tiling was very reasonable but his price for electrics seemed very high for what he did.
Do not use this trader. I have used Wayne in the past and he completed the job as quoted. Re-booked again this Easter to supply and fit carpet. He took the cash (over £1000) and we have been unable to contact him since. Currently going through small claims to try and get our money back.
