Update. Less than a year later hot water cylinder stopped working. Nick doesn't return call nor text nor emails. On top of that he never sent any supporting documents as it was promised, so I now I have difficulties claiming a warranty. Shady. Stay away.

GLS did some work on our cottage, including renovating a staircase, fitting skirting boards and door frames, hanging doors and installing a built-in wardrobe. This work was quite complicated due to the age and “character” of the cottage (no straight lines!), plus working in a busy family home. They did an absolutely fantastic job. Andrew and his team did a complete gut out, redesign and extension to our house, the work was completed a year ago but I forgot to write a review. 3 new bathrooms, new plumbing, electric, everything. Tomasz repaired the wooden frame of a period window in my house. It was a please dealing with him. He was available almost immediately and job was finished as discussed. Overall an excellent experience, and I will certainly call on him again if I need him for any other jobs.
Spent about 2hours to do the job. Checking gas supply first before cutting pipe,adding a section of pipe and gas key. Then removed old gas cooker outside and connected new cooker and chain, then explained the controls. Make sure you get a new rubber cooker connector if required. No idea if expensive or not £150. Would recommend.

Lovely people and the work was very well done and very helpful advice given -we'd have them again. The tidying up inside was also very good but outside it wasn't done properly. They came back to check work done and rectified some small issues but tidying outside could still have been better.

Pathetic behaviour of the owner, I requested services for which i was asked to pay half of the money upfront, the guys turned up did not completed the requested job by saying its too late now we have to drive two hours to go back home? Never turned up to do rest of the work! Instead damaged my property never apologised for that neither returned to even check it. Avoid and dont pay in advance

Would not recommend, was inconsiderate, turned up at my home late at night twice unexpectedly. Did not paint neatly - didn’t use frog tape I provided - painted into my ceiling and skirting boards. Ruined my original fireplace by splashing paint on it. Left my home dirty with all the rubbish left behind. Did not have basic tools that a professional tradesperson would usually have - used my new hoover and left paint all over it and used it to hoover up wallpaper which made it jam.
