George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. the worst job ever i have seen i hired anthony as a professional to do some finishing touches on venetian plaster but he didnt do it he took a deposit then he disappeared for three weeks telling stories that he was sick or he didn't have time when he finally came to do the job he did it even worse than before came with one can of filler and made my walls a ugly color arguing that they couldn't be done better didn't return the deposit! i don't recommend it to anyone, do not pay deposit this person

S&D fixed our kitchen ceiling after a leak. Nicholas also painted the ceiling, painted our living room ceiling and installed tiles in our kitchen. All done in 2 days. The low rating refers to Storm Guard R&G whose quote I accepted. But, 4 men came; 2 from Cheshire Roofing Repairs who did good work & I score them high. But, Storm Guard overcharged & did minimal sitework & then pressurised for payment (+ threatened to remove materials!). Storm Guard have several company names & an initial quote with no heading or phone (& only a Rated People website, spelt wrong!), and my bank suspected, so delayed payment. Advise just using Cheshire RR!
