Aaron is a keen and very hard working general gardener who I tasked with blitzing my 1/3 acre garden which had become overgrown due to my ill health. He was very prompt and kept to agreed times and worked pretty solidly all the time he was onsite. I was presented with weekly invoices listing the hours done which to my view tended to be rounded down so I never felt more hours were being claimed than completed - in reality quite the reverse. Aaron is a general garden maintenance and tree maintenance operative and freely admits to not being a plantsman or hard landscaper. I needed 800 feet of hedges not just clipped but cut right back from where they had been allowed to grow unchecked for a season - this he did along with rooting up two large areas of overgrown shrubbery very efficiently. he also cut front and rear grass in an afternoon - quite a task when you realise my plot is largly grass and 430 foot in length. The Garden now looks neat and tidy and much larger, more open so the views from the house are now sweeping and a joy once more - the only point I would make is that his enthusiasm and sheer hard work tends to leave a few bits lying around but this is something I am able to sort myself - just a bit of final tidying and certainly if left would not detract from the hugely improved aesthetics all the hard work has delivered. Would I go back to G.M.F.? Definately - in fact I have two more "projects" lined up and have agreed on a 4 hour a week regular visit to keep all in order.

Stuart did an excellent job for me - he listened carefully to what I wanted, gave me a good quote, consulted with me along the way to make sure he was doing what I wanted, and was always punctual, scrupulously tidy and friendly. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for landscaping work to be done, and would be happy to offer references for anyone wanting to check his work.

Dave did a great job clearing the end of our garden including removing 3 conifers and laying membrane and bark. He also cleared away all the debris afterwards. He was also very reliable and punctual. I would definitely use Dave again and would recommend him to others.

Took time to talk through requirements, meet on site to survey and estimate the work, providing a clear cost and timescale. Matt Belchamber did an absolutely brilliant job on our cliff top garden under the most arduous weather conditions in the Spring of 2014. In association with the garden designer he recommended to us (Bo Cook of Alitura) he transformed the garden from a modest patch of lawn and borders into a work of art. He started on time (when the winds were blowing at hurricane force) and completed the work on time, keeping us fully informed all the way. We cannot recommend Matt too highly.

Lazlo's fiancee, Niki and her mum have now cleaned twice for us and are fantastic - highly recommended. Niki asked if I would rate her on here, which I am very happy to do, as having had many cleaners in family homes in Woking over 20 odd years, I can honestly say she (and her mum) are the most efficient and best by far! They are now our regular weekly cleaners.

I have a beautiful new patio thanks to Pete & John & my lawn has been levelled & grass seeded. The guys worked really hard, arrived when the said they would & left things tidy every day. Fantastic service - a visit arranged within 2 days of the initial phone call, and the job started within 2 weeks. Excellent advice, very thorough and nothing is too much trouble. This company changes your perception of builders! Will definitely use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them.
