Craig got in touch quickly, gave me a rough estimate over the phone and answered all my questions. Surveyor arrived on time, gave instant quote. Price was good. George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Dean did work on our house, and the jobs that we asked him to do were done to a very high standard. He worked very hard and put a full days work in with out taking long lengthy tea breaks. we would recommend Aulds to anyone who were looking for a good reliable around builder at very reasonable rates.
George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. The company main reception also seems to be a virtual reception so you can never speak with anyone helpful

Having initially left a positive review about Dryfix I have had to change my rating. The work they did to repair my leaking roof can only be described as a 'botch job'. I've had to have the work redone by another contractor who could not believe the poor quality of work carried out. I'm absolutely appalled with Dryfix and wouldnt recommend them. They used pieces of plastic matting instead of replacing tiles, used filler in the gaps instead of tiles, didnt properly attach the felt so it came loose. Awful.

This company turned up on time in order to look at what was required and quote what I thought to be a fair price. Unfortunately after I had agreed for them to have the job. They failed to contact to finalise dates. So I had to find someone else.

George started really well but unfortunately didn't finish the small areas required to complete. Had to finish of some small cosmetic issues myself. Such a shame as the main tiling work was really good.
