I posted 2 jobs, paid for 2 Electrical Installation Certificates in advance. 1 Pass 1 Fail, engineer issued Certs. He returned, completed tasks; I fully paid for main job & waited for the Pass Cert which did not arrive. He wanted payment for both before issuing the Pass Certificate I contacted 'Rated People'; he then issued a certificate but not the Installation Cert. I persevered, he then issued Installation cert, then I paid for the other task. I felt messed about & will AVOID AMPTECH IN THE FUTURE.

Main task of laying wood was top class. Reasons for the mixed review: - As part of cost, was promised beading that would colour match the wood, but he turned up with different colour beading and it was left to me to varnish it - door needed to be trimmed because the wooden floor was at a raised height - was cut incorrectly. He promised to return and fix the door and lay a bridge to the carpeted hallway if I paid him in full which I did. Despite me following up, he never returned which I find dishonest.

But, then he did not arrive and I phoned at three times with no answer and no response on Whatsapp since. No explanation why he did not turn up. came on 21st july, gave estimate and agreed job. said panels would be ready in 5 days. eventually fitted on 21st august, 30 days later One panel faulty(not noticed by john hall). Replaced this panel a week later, when he had to reverse panels, mas they had been fitted the wrond way round!!.
