Hired this tradesperson all went well for a short time - his team walked out on him and he could not get the appropriate trades to complete various stages of the build - after complaining about the constant delays he stated he would not come back and is now in breech of his contract- due to his inability to obtain the relevant tradespeople his plumbing “expertise” has now caused a leak underneath our newly fitted kitchen floor! Which we are having to pay to repair! Disgraceful!

This young man is starting out with his new business and is very ambitious to prove himself and give a good service. He and his colleague were very polite, and managed to shore up our fence to a good standard. He should be encouraged and supported in the best possible way to run a his business to the highest of standards. which I am sure he will always maintain. We can't rate the value as we have little experience of stone masons- it seemed reasonable. He was very helpful and we were grateful that he fitted our job in when we needed it doing fairly urgently. There was some misunderstanding about the colour of the mortar used, but we can live with it. Would recommend him.

They arrived on time and did a good job overall. However, I was disappointed that the final charge was higher than the agreed fixed price, despite all the job details being provided upfront. The contractor was also invited to view the site before quoting, so the unexpected increase felt unfair

George responded quickly to my request, gave a very reasonable quote, did a really quite tricky and complicated job above a conservatory, to fix cracks in the pebbledash of an external wall, and seal all around the windows. A fortnight later he re-plastered internally. George gives the impression of being somewhat chaotic! But he is extremely experienced, knows what he is doing, and actually did a very good job. The timings and quote agreed to were respected, he was polite and cordial, and communicated well

I didn't have the work done. They came across as unprofessional and pushy. I can't coment on the quality of the work but I can coment on the quote process. Just verbal price. When I pushed for an email quote I just got the price again and little else. Nothing about what they were going to do as part of the job. I expect better. The last few tradesmen I have had on Rated have been excellent full written quotes and professional from the start. These guys even had to ask if they could borrow a tape measure!

On our front garden he laid the artificial grass without Weed control fabric and we can see the weeds already popping up. He didn't lay the patio properly as we can see rain water stored in some areas. He didn't flatten/level the grass area where we asked him to put the Artificial grass.. he left the area in bumps. Overall, I'm really disappointed with his work and do not recommend him for any landscape work.
