Wooden Doors - External
Now today, out of spite, probably because we were able to find his personal home address to send the letter before action to, he has left this negative feedback, lying, while leaving out the fact that he owes me money. I am now taking formal recovery action through the small claims court and will be relying on dated photographs, purchase records, and written communication.

Despite knowing the extreme urgency from day one—and being reminded constantly—he left a basic door replacement unfinished for over 10 days! His complete disregard for commitments, endless no-shows, and excuses left tenants without basic security, forcing a tenant to move out. What little work he did was crooked cuts, no trim, poor installation of fire elements. The doors he brought were also of lower quality. Poor skill and no respect for the job promised.

When I asked to collect my materials, he made it impossible. He refused to let me collect them and refused to refund me. I sent him an invoice for the materials in case he wished to keep them and pay me instead, but he ignored it. Despite sending him two letters before action, the first informal via WhatsApp, and the second an official letter written by a solicitor, he ignored both.

Onur offered me the job to replace two doors damaged by police forced entry. When I viewed the property, the front door frame was so badly damaged that he had secured it with a hasp and staple bracket screwed onto the outside of the door, locked with a padlock. This is what left the property insecure, as anyone could simply unscrew the hasp and stable bracket without needing unlock the padlock. Also, the property was already vacant at the time. No tenants were living there.

Shortly after, Onur cancelled the contract without explanation. I later discovered he had found another tradesman who he more likely got cheaper quote from, and that tradesman was brought in to do the job I was originally hired for. To make matters worse, he Onur allowed him to use the materials I had purchased and delivered.

His claim that I caused tenants to leave is simply untrue. Before purchasing any materials, I showed Onur the exact Howdens products I intended to buy, and he gave his full approval. I then purchased and delivered them to his property. These included FD30 fire doors, Grade 13 fire-rated hinges, Lorient intumescent strips, and high-quality 5-lever Union mortice locks and some other bits and pieces. The claim that I supplied poor-quality materials is again, untrue.
We hired Antoine to carry out refurb work installing underfloor heating, laminate flooring, new doors with frames and installing a Magnet kitchen. Job well done!
Very pleased with the custom base unit and boiler cupboard Antoine made for my kitchen.
Anton replaced our skirtings, architraves and doors in our new flat. He is very tidy and communicative. Highly recommend!
Internal Painting & Decorating
Antoine kept me informed about when he would arrive. He carefully prepared all work areas and wore protective slips when walking around my home. He was courteous. A job well done - thank you, Antoine.
