Sweet Plastering & Carpentry is a small local business who pride themselves on carrying out a high standard of workmanship with a reputation of great customer service. We carry out all aspects of building work internal and external by qualified tradesman.
Plastering was not completed, wall left with no skim on it. Plaster did not go up to the ceiling so gaps to be filled everywhere. The edges of the walls are still unfinished and rough. We was quoted one price then they said they couldn't finish the job at that price said they would come back to finish for another 400 pound but still have not seen where this money was spent. The first dsy they was here for maybe 4 hours the second vist was less then an hour the final day they arrived at 8.30 gone by lunch.

Solomon replied to my ad very quickly which was great and he managed to get the heating working in my flat, which it hadn't been. However, the fault light on my boiler came back on shortly after he left and he hasn't been able to provide a report on what issue needs fixing for me to be able to follow up on. He also wouldn't pre confirm an hourly rate or agree costs upfront. He was however very friendly and helpful, if he can provide a report and rectify the issue then I'd happily use him again.

This was to remove existing floor tiles , prepare for new ones & fit & grout replacements. Then to fit a toilet bowl plus seat. All done in budget and to the timescale promised. They did 2 bathroom makeovers, they were let down by a tile supplier which delayed our timetable but in general the team were good to work with, focussed, and listened to what we wanted. Lucas did a fantastic job of sanding, fixing and varnishing our wooden floor in our small back bedroom. He was very professional and friendly and even helped with trying to fix a leak in a water pipe below the floorboard . Kept in constant contact with us too. Very trustworthy. Highly recommended!
