Two Mills Property Services was started by myself, Mike Howard, in 2014. On 24th October 2016, I opened an account with Rated People. At the time of writing, I have undertaken 21 Rated People jobs since I signed up, with 18 ratings/reviews for those jobs. I currently have a total of 79 stars out of a possible maximum of 80 stars. Most of my first 18 reviews are for joinery work. One is for a Man and Van job. For 2019, I hope to secure staircase-related work; specifically, railing assemblies (balustrading). I can be flexible on times/days, evenings no problem. As for charges, hourly/daily rate or a written estimate, it depends on several factors, including the nature of the work and the extent to which the job has been assessed by myself. Free home visits are available for properties within about a five-mile radius of Chester city centre. Estimates are valid for 14 days. I prefer to communicate by email or some other written form. Trips to retailers, for materials: I generally don't charge a mark-up but I reserve the right to do so. I always present receipts to the homeowner. Disposal of discarded material: I do not currently have a licence so I'm unable to offer this service. But I've cut doors in half so that the pieces can be put into a car. We were stuck in very stressful, difficult situation and Russel was the only builder interested in building our extension. I am extremely happy with the service from Vas. Very professional and quick. I needed my whole salon refurbished and done very quickly. Vas contacted me straight away and gave a very detailed and fair quote for work. Vas and his team are very polite and courteous and have accommodated all the request made. Tom came to quote and gave a figure much higher than expected. I knew before the £500 was too low but to put £1000 seemed OTT. Discussed requirements and Tom researched the prices. Sliding doors were very expensive. We decided on hinged ones instead saving about £200. The final figure was above budget but I felt it was worth it to have the study I wanted. Tom came when said he would and worked hard to complete the project in the time quoted. I like the quality of result and am pleased with the workmanship.

We are very happy to recommend this company.They were excellent and the team were a real pleasure to deal with and have around. They gave a detailed quote and gave good advice helping us stay in budget without losing quality or the end design. They underestimated the number of days the work would take but we were happy to negotiate the cost - no pressure from them to do this, but we could see where the time was spent. Communication was also excellent & they turned up on time every time. Delighted!

James is a true craftsman. He is hardworking, punctual, reliable, trustworthy and a great guy. James has a vast knowledge and the ability to carry out all various types of work asked of him. We feel very lucky to have found such a nice bloke who does a real quality job. Unlike a lot of builders James does a full day's work and is very conscientious and charges a fair price.
