New to the area and was looking for someone reliable and skilled for job. Scott came around and did initial measurements before sending a very reasonable quote across. Work was done over two days and to a very high standard. The new doors are well built and installed and are exactly what I was looking for. The previous review was done under duress with Billy standing over me. The truth is, he disappears for considerable lengths of time (days), leaves equipment behind so you can't hire anyone else, switches his phone off so you can't contact him during this time and has the attitude of a bully. He removed our toilet to fix a blocked pipe but then left it so it wasn't fixed back to the floor properly and moved around, when we were in the process of selling our flat, with surveyors coming round. Not recommended.

The plumber was really quick – he fixed the dripping tap in about 20 minutes. But then he charged us £168, which is outrageous. I'd avoid 'The Local Plumber Service'. They quote £62.50 for 30 minutes, but they actually charge a full hour no matter how quick the job is. That's really misleading."
