The work was all carried out as agreed quickly and he worked long days to get it all done. The changes we made were added onto our bill at the end and were far lower than I had been expecting. Carpenter by preference but do most general building work with over 30 years experience from fitting a door to complete new build. I always leave the site clean and tidy. I take every job seriously as I know how important even the smallest job can be.
Chris has now done three separate jobs for me (fitting a gas meter, moving two radiators, mending a leaking bath and fitting a new toilet). He is quick to respond, fair in his prices, friendly and honest, efficient and does a good job. I will be calling him again and recommending him to friends. Really excellent.

Paul has been absolutely brilliant! He has transformed our garage to a lovely bedroom and created a new shower room between the house and garage for my mother in law - 5 weeks and just a bit of touching up to complete the work. We have been building and renovating property since 2005. Over the years, we have predominantly focused on our own projects, but more recently, we are offering our services to clients. Our experience covers all aspects of property works.
Not a bad job overall. A few negatives: changed shower screen spec without consultation with the client. Did not provide floor protection initially. After first day, did not clear up or remove large amount of dust. During evening of first day, water pipe joint sprung a leak. Turned out a push-on connector was not fitted properly. Client had to turn the water supply off. Some finishing not good. Outside tap left at an inconvenient angle.
Jon painted our whole house to a very high standard. Emulsion all walls and ceilings plus gloss all woodwork. He started when promised and finished on time. He tidied up everyday and now we can make our house a home. Would recommend him to everyone and we will definitely use him again.
