Shah was so reliable, experienced and polite. He made suggestions that helped us without pressuring us into anything or imposing on us. The work was all carried out as agreed quickly and he worked long days to get it all done. The changes we made were added onto our bill at the end and were far lower than I had been expecting. We offer a complete service of renovations from small bathroom revamps to complete house renovations. We have fully qualified tradesmen with niceic for electrical works and gas safe for plumbing. All our work is carried out to a very high standard with a 12 month warranty.
Hired paul to reconfigure my kitchen. He did not complete the job and walked out after 3 weeks leaving numerous jobs unfinished. Many things they did have had to be redone, the finish was shoddy and I don't think he knows what a right angle is. Would obviously not recommend, other tradesmen that have seen his workmanship have told me to report him to trading standards. He left me with a half finished job, saying he was not able to achieve the level of finish I was looking for.

Really disappointed. Lovely guy, good workmanship but unbelievably unreliable. You have to chase really hard, he will tell you he's coming and then nothing. No communication, no arrival and no work. Started a job for us in August, it's now January and not complete. Given up on him. If you want a 2 week job to take 5 months and still be incomplete.....then he's highly recommended.

He quoted £100,000 to do the job in 6 weeks & promised it would be stress free, At 12 weeks in He was told I no longer wanted him to complete the job as I received an electric shock from a socket that was left as a bare cable protruding from the wall. He blamed everybody else then fired the only two decent builders as he held them responsible. Even though I had paid the third stage payment a day previous, I was too distressed and my health was declining due to the anxiety and stress he had caused. Avoid!!
I have been trading as MJ Griifiths for nearly 30 years now . My father was a gas engineer and I initially trained with him and got my City & Guilds qualifications. I branched into building a few years later in a partnership with a school friend who was a carpenter. Together we estabalished a Building , plumbing and heating company covering all aspects of the trade. The partnership no longer exists but M J Griffiths does ! Its fair to say that I am a very experienced all rounder who specalises in Heating and plumbing, all gas work and servicing , bathroom installations etc . We mainly only carry out associated building works now a days to go along with say a bathroom installation where we would do studwork, boarding , skimming , carpentry, tiling etc. My company does not have to use other trades for things like this enabling us to keep costs down with no delays waiting for other trades. My son James has qualified as a gas engineer 6 years ago and has worked with me for 10 years. Now we have on board my youngest son Max as an apprentice , studying at Trowbridge college on day release. We install Worcester boilers if possible and are due to be Worcester acredited this autumn . We also install other makes of boilers if the budget requires. We also specalize in design , supply and installation of bathrooms. We take the strain , not our customers !
Mark did a great job fitting our new gas boiler. He was reliable and worked hard to get the job done on time. Mark was professional and accomodating throughout and his building skills came in very handy in making good following the removal of our old boiler, meaning that we didn't have to find a seperate builder to do that side of things. Found the person doing my guttering helpful and very informative about his trade. Accommodated me as was working away at the time and sent me a before and after photo of the old/new guttering. Was very clean and left the old guttering in a safe place as was Aluminium.
