James responded promptly to my enquiry and advised that the post could be repaired but that he would need to find bricks to match the original post. The price eventually quoted was deemed fair for the job. Given the age of the original post and therefore the weathered state of the brickwork, the finished repair looks great, the quality of the bricklaying and match of the bricks is just fine. I had got few quotes for fence installation and chose to go with different contractor instead of JD. They did a terrible job. Posts started leaning and rocking significantly after couple of weeks of the installation. I asked them to come back and fix but they did not. Then I contacted JD and requested him to come and repair the fence. Joshua was quick to react and made himself available next day for the job. He reinstalled almost all of the posts with proper depth and alignment. Highly recommended fencer.

Apart from causing £350. worth of damage to my roof and electrics so far and ignoring my emails questioning why they didn't tell me. The job was done quickly and virtually to the agreed specification. Would I recommend them? Probably not just for not coming clean about the damage and not communicating. I had a quote from them for a fence which I was going to take up, also a couple of other jobs to quote for but I am now looking elsewhere. I have no confidence they will tell me if something goes wrong.
