George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. I can't comment on the any work carried out but we had him booked in to attend, he did not turn up on the day and when I messaged him I had no reply, not very happy as I took time out of work.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS I can't recommend Tom. Previously TH&Jones Ltd he has changed the company name. He has left us with an extension that doesn't meet building regulations and needs to be taken down. Our house unsalable. I have an independent report to support it. Insufficient foundation, no damp course, insufficient insulation, incorrect installation of roof. He said he would rectify if we paid for 'things unquoted' but failed to show exactly what. We haven't heard from him in months. Stay away!!

He takes pride in what he does, and his attention to, and the care he takes with the smallest details, are not seen so often these days. I have been a builder for over 30 years. We have moved from large site work building houses in and around the reading area, Mostly all the brickwork. For the past 15 years we are been concentrating only on residential extensions offering a complete service from ?foundation and drainage to finish flooring. Including all plumbing, electrics, windows carpentry and roofing.all works are signed of and inspected by building control and carry a 10 year structural warranty. Swear We do not add extra cost unless extra work is added as we progress after full consultation before continuing. ?We will have lots of meetings to discuss interior fixtures and finish before quoting to eliminate cost rises.
Came and looked at job gave quote and start date. Noticed that wall was also leaning inwards and after some consideration advised that wall should be knocked down and rebuilt for same cost as original quote. Turned up when he stated and removed wall and recovered most of bricks. Rebuilt wall higher than original with cap bricks on either end. Very impressed with the way he lined up wall and kept concrete between rows equal continually checking measurements. Good craftsman will use again. Highly recommended

Fitted window but required snagging. Window was fitted properly but one of the plastic corner protectors had been left in place whilst fitting which the window fitter offered to remove and correct the fitting.
