George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Paid £310 to have top of bedroom bay window re-felted as small amount of rain water was seaping through. This company recommended fibre glass paint and guaranteed the work done. After 3 months the rain water is still coming through the front part of bay window roof. When I contacted again I'm told it would cost an additional £80 material costs plus £40 each for 2 people to repair what they should have repaired in the first instance. Don't like to leave negative comments but feel done over :(

The work itself was very good, and while on the job, they were quick, consistent and polite. Problems occurred with finishing off and a number of issues are still outstanding. There were mitigating circumstances - serious illness in the company - but communications with us have been erratic and we are left with a few outstanding issues that we have to deal with ourselves.

I originally wanted the front of a terraced house rendered to which bobby came round and we had a chat. In the end I asked him to look at another one of my houses which we have since gone ahead with and had rendered. Stuck to the price quoted and answered every question I threw at him with in depth knowledge! The work carried out itself I cannot fault, it is absolutely immaculate. Couldn't of asked for anyone better to do the work! 10/10 for every aspect from start to finish, would definitely recommend.

He put every effort into driving a long way to assess our water leak. He even inspected everywhere & had a long ladder to climb the 3 stories to the roof to evaluate all sources of the leak. He found a crack in the roof & a pipe pouring water into the crack. He even repaired the crack free of charge! We would hire him again, esp for his specialty-exteriors.

The basic work was done, but I’d agreed with mark that he does a number of other pieces of work because the price I’d agreed with him was too much for resetting of 30 or so bricks. But before I knew anything about it he’d taken down the scaffolding and packed up claiming he’d done everything possible. I’d paid handsomely for a days work, I got a couple of hours max.
