The quote was better than expected. The builders were very clean and tidy each day. The work was completed despite the weather conditions not being perfect. The finished walls were to a high standard when compared to other nearby residential properties that have been recently pointed. I have concerns about the validity of this contractor; I have been advised by an independent contractor that the work is of a poor standard and will need to be rectified. I also have evidence of dishonesty. He told me he needed extra money to replace wooden battens but refused to provide a receipt. Ii have security cameras and it was clear that he had not delivered them. The following day he said that his contractors had 'cut off the rotten bits' and used concrete. I am taking legal action.
