Joe and Martin did an excellent job of taking off the existing varnish on our very worn external windows and doors, sanding back to bare wood and re-varnishing. No job was too much for them. They went to the trouble of getting the varnish we asked for and the brand of paint we wanted for the fascias and soffits. Joe was excellent at communicating what time they would be turning up. They were extremely polite, tidied up after themselves every day and left no mess. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Firstly, very impressed with 'RatedPeople',... within 20 minutes of posting my requirement, I had been contacted by Paul who's profile and indeed, own website testimonials reassured. Paul visited the next day to quote and commenced the job shortly afterwards. Paul's time keeping was impeccable, as was his work ethic, completing the decoration of our kitchen on time and within budget. I first thought it was going to cost too much but they worked very hard, we were very impressed that they worked so hard during the very hot weather. Excellent work l would highly recommend.
Chris and Dan are v professional and polite. They have competitive prices which does not mean that they scrimp on the high quality of their work. Chris contacted me immediately, met me that evening and commenced work within days - v efficient. The completed work was done to a high standard and the property was left neat and tidy (v, refreshing for tradesman!!) They will advise on work that would be useful but leave the final decision to you which illustrates their knowledge in their field of work.

Goodes Decor was set up in 1999 and traded well until the recent recession unfortunately we trading in 2009. We are now trying to setup the business again with myself a qualified Painter of many years and my son a qualified Plumber ( not gas registered ).
