Mariusz, (ML contractors), is an exceptional artisan. We needed repairs to a kitchen work surface and replacement of the mixer tap for our rental flat. See photo, he replaced a section of the work surface and fitted this and made good the repairs. So we also got him to decorate 2 rooms again the work was brilliant, efficient and reasonably priced. Can't recommend highly enough!! We will definitely use his skills again.

Alex and his Team at Kent Specialist Groundworks and Construction did a fantastic job with my back garden patio. I ended up doing the walkway to the garden. Very competitive costs as well. A SUMMARY of issues follows. 1 - Plastering done is uneven. 2 - Did not allow plaster to dry before painting walls so already peeling off. 3 - Found number of areas where holes had been left, and had these not been pointed out would have been left. 4 - Wood not sanded before painting, incl. new skirting boards. 5 - Threats when I refused to pay!

Main task of laying wood was top class. Reasons for the mixed review: - As part of cost, was promised beading that would colour match the wood, but he turned up with different colour beading and it was left to me to varnish it - door needed to be trimmed because the wooden floor was at a raised height - was cut incorrectly. He promised to return and fix the door and lay a bridge to the carpeted hallway if I paid him in full which I did. Despite me following up, he never returned which I find dishonest.
