I have been in the plumbing and electrical trade for the last 25 years as a business
Patrick came to fix an immerser and do an EICR assessment and provide a certificate on completion. He did the former then completed the EICR but didn't leave the certificate. He then ignored my repeated calls, texts and emails to sort the problem leaving me with no option but to pay another £250 for a service I thought someone on Rated People would be vetted for. I have also since found out his company went out of business. Daylight robbery. Do not employ this provider.

Tommy came when he said and was easy to deal with. Communicated well and sourced the tap & fan I wanted and installed them quickly. It was good to find someone who can turn his hand to different things meaning I was able to tick off a few jobs. Would use again.

Came on time to check my boiler, which keeps cutting out. Spent around 2 hours looking at it only finding a cracked insulating plate, but unable to stop my boiler from cutting out. Took details of the plate to replace, stuck a do not use sticker on my boiler, and £100 from me. Then nothing until I chased him for an update and it was clear he’d not ordered a replacement plate. Chased again and not heard anything since. Avoid this man at all costs. I’m £100 down and needing to find a reliable gas engineer.
