George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Just had Richard round to rebuild a wall and I can't sing his praises enough. From start to finish it has been a pleasure, He has kept me informed of how and what was happening and through out has kept mess to a minimum and upon inspecting the final job seen that he has washed the whole area down and apart from wall no evidence he has been there. By January 2026, experience taught me that it is always better to get a quote on the whole project rather than a daily rate. Many aspects to the job incorrect - a very expensive lesson learned.
I am a sole trader, I have been fitting windows, doors, conservatories and doing general building work for the past 25 years. I am Certass and Q.A.N.W registered. All UPVC installations are covered by a ten year warranty. Only quality products used.
Obviously the previous cost of £75 I paid in May shall be deducted from the new bill. If the quality of your work is satisfactory, then I' ll consider a withdrawal of my previous rating and give you a reasonable customer review. Thanks Jun

He also hung a heavy mirror above the fireplace and took great care over the fixings to ensure it would be safe and secure. I am very pleased with the result and would employ him again to carry out further work.

Under no circumstances use these people. They have made an utter mess of our roof. They are utterly negligent. They will not return calls. They have taken a substantial amount of money and not undertaken the work. We are now asking the Police and Court to get involved.

Richard came to inspect the roof on the Friday and offered to do the work over the weekend, weather permitting, for £120 inclusive of materials and labour. As Sunday was the best day for dry weather, he came around mid-morning and worked on our roof for about three hours, replacing the damaged ridge tile, reseating (cementing) the other ridge tiles, replacing moisture barrier, checking all of our roof tiles and removing and replacing a disused heating vent. Prompt, pleasant, polite, professional! Excellent!
