George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. This man came out and priced my work. I accepted his price but on the day he was due to start the work he rang me saying his platerers wife was taken into hospital with food poisoning. Never heard from him again.so I am now looking for someone myself to plaster my ceiling.

Revised review. I originally gave a 1 star review to Bill Osborne(RL Contracts)for the substandard work that he undertook solely. He told me that this review had to be removed for me to receive a partial refund. Which I did. To finish the extension, I have retained the sub contractors that he originally employed as their work has been exemplary. I have spent the past month repeating work that he undertook personally (roofing/plumbing) and am massively out of pocket even with a refund. HENCE THE ONE STAR

Very unhappy with work completed. Unsafe working practices by team. Roof has more leaks than prior to works starting Damage to asbestos panels Poor workmanship Optimal roofing now ignoring my attempts to contact them. I have had a full house refurb using many contractors and have never experienced anything resembling the appalling standards set by Optimal or their lack of attempt to resolve . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am now 1k out of pocket and will have to pay another contractor to fix damage caused
