A quick, efficient and friendly set of guys. I had them in to clean and paint my mums fence, and then she asked them to do some jet washing and further painting around the garage. The work was carried out expertly with all aspects of health and safety being observed. They treated my home with respect wearing foot coverings to keep the floor clean. They cleaned up any dust and particles created whilst drilling etc was carried out. I am extremely happy with the standard of installation and consider CID to be an excellent contractor.

Miles helped at such short notice and as my Mum is 97, he agreed to come on Sunday to fix her lighting so she’d be safe. He told us his call-out and hourly rate, messaged when he was a bit delayed, and diagnosed fault and fixed it . He explained everything and was very tidy, no mess at all. Would recommend him highly, cost was v reasonable and was very glad to find him.

The job was posted on 22nd July 2025 and Wade Ellis of Ellis Roofing And Building Ltd responded 2 days later. After a survey, I received a quote on 26th July, which was accepted. A skip arrived on 29th July and the work commenced next day. The job was completed on 1st August. The bricklayer and his female trainee assistant got on with the job without any fuss, and they were very pleasant to deal with. The aim of the project has been delivered and I am very happy with the result. I recommend them. 5 stars!

Lee Warburton from Lock Hub made an arrangement to visit for a quote, but never arrived and made no attempt to inform me. I then contacted him to arrange another visit for a quote and once again he never turned up, even though I checked with him the day before to ensure that he would honour the arrangement. Consequently, I find it hard to trust someone who does not meet their obligations .
