Craig got in touch quickly, gave me a rough estimate over the phone and answered all my questions. Surveyor arrived on time, gave instant quote. Price was good. Michael and (another) Craig turned up to do the job on the day, time given. Good, tidy job. Can't fault anything, from start to finish!! Would recommend!

George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. About me i have over 12 years in the trade and started my own company in 2019 as I was working for a company doing shop fitting there was no room for progression so I started my own business in joinery. Last year my company went limited I’ve done over 5 years in college and university I have my level 2 & 3 in carpentry and joinery (city and guilds) and I also have my degree in construction management (Bsc). I’m new to this platform but not new in the trade I have an eye for detail and no corners are cut I aim to do a job as though it was my own. We recently had our subfloor replaced and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The carpenter was friendly, professional, and clearly very skilled. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and made sure the work was carried out to a high standard. The new subfloor is solid, level, and has made a huge difference to the room. It's great to find a tradesperson who is reliable, turns up when they say they will, and takes pride in their work. I would highly recommend him!!

An outstanding trades person. I posted the job in February but had to save up before the work could be done. Phil waited and he did the work for me in June. The weather was very hot but that didn't stop Phil from getting on with the job ,nor did problems he encountered .. He is a problem solver and repaired the problem before finishing his own job and he cleaned up at the end of each day. 5 stars .

Poor communication and lack of project management skills and honesty leaves something to be desired of this company. A 4 week job turned into a 16 week job due to the fact that the sub contractor was not released monies to purchase materials although I paid a hefty 30% deposit and further 30% before up to roof level. I would recommend Carl the sub contractor that did the work but wouldn't recommend CM Masonry. The sub contractor did a good job thankfully so the end result is good.

Made a total mess of a small extension. Quoted 2 weeks and after 7 I sacked him off as we were going nowhere. Massive list of his work didn’t comply with building regs and ended up fitting a purlin to roof as he used wrong sized joists. I now have bits of roof hanging off after max 30 mph winds Even managed to cock guttering up so down pipe is nowhere near drains. Roof leaking and I have had to sack him off and pay another load of cash to a set of lads who can do the job. Avoid or he’ll bankrupt you
