From coffee tables and chairs to staircases, floors and grand pianos, I have done it all. Colour matching, change of use and change of design. Government contracts in the past, included various departments from department of business to health (usually indirectly). Also RAF dance floor to royal navy officer training head office, all when I was living nearer London. I have been in this business since leaving school, and intend to continue while I still can because I have a 3 year old daughter at a rather late age. In the 1970s when I started most people were doing domestic furniture in this trade, I however was trained on government department jobs as well as domestic jobs. In those days most polishing jobs were dark traditional colours, by the late 80s to early naughties they were more natural colours and more recently lighter than natural. Perhaps you require fitted furniture or architectural joinery changes, such as doors and frames to blend with carpets or curtains. Send a photo and let's see what can be done. I also repair damaged furniture etc, maybe you have a deep scratch or broken furniture that you love that needs repair. (Again just send a photo)

We\\\\'ve spent many years developing an extensions system that is of the highest quality and brings minimal disruption for customers. All of our Company Directors have had extensions done by the firm. We believe in our product. We use a high strength piling system for our foundation (a fraction of the time and mess of old school foundations). We pre-fabricate our walls (cut and built by hand in our warehouse) we then do the full build, traditional cut roof and finishes on site. This leaves the customer with a clean site throughout, minimal disruption and a build that stands the test of time. At the end of the build we provide Building Regulations Certification - many firms will not provide this - we do it as standard. Ben’s journey in construction started at an early age. He grew up on construction sites alongside his father, who had a long-standing background in construction and worked directly on government projects. This gave Ben an early understanding of construction that came from being around real projects, real trades and the realities of building. He later studied Architecture, developing a deeper understanding of design, structure and how buildings come together. During this time, his passion for timber and craftsmanship became particularly strong. He discovered that what interested him most was not only designing buildings, but actually creating them. Before establishing NOAH Construction, Ben also gained experience working for leading construction companies, where he was exposed to projects worth millions of pounds and was involved in works with values reaching approximately £10 million. This experience gave him an understanding of the organisation, standards and responsibility required on larger construction projects. NOAH Construction was then established as a way to build something of his own. In just three years, the company has progressed from delivering smaller projects to successfully undertaking works ranging from approximately £50,000 to £1 million in value. Today, Ben combines three important parts of his background: hands-on construction experience from an early age, architectural education, and experience working within larger-scale construction environments. His particular passion remains timber and craftsmanship, but his approach to construction goes beyond one material or trade. The goal is to understand the project as a whole, build it properly and deliver work that he can stand behind.
