I have been a carpenter since I could lift my Dad’s hammer aged 3! The picture is my late Dad Roy Gilbert , the best teacher I ever had, pictured with my son Alex, the future of our company and a complete tach head! From the age of 14 working through the school holidays , to full time for the past 25 years self-employed. Working around the London and Home Counties of Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire based in Denham with easy access to the M40 and M25 I am ideally located with my own equipped workshop. We specialise in outdoor living spaces in the garden, the extra space has become a place to escape the kids, the TV or the other half! Call it a man cave or Avalon or just a shed we create the space for you and your family to escape. I have built garden studios from scratch or put together flat packs, the choices are endless, with decks and chill out zones for BBQ’s and other events . It’s like your own home from home in the garden. The interior space of the second house can be customised any way you want, flat screen TV ,Sound system, recording Studio, sound proof practice studio for wanna be Phil Collins’ or Ginger Baker’s!! With social distancing and all the restrictions imposed on us, this is the ideal area to exploit, however large or small. With our knowledge and expertise we can transform that space into a little haven. I would definitely recommend. I love the new porch, and it makes me smile when coming home. Dave was very helpful, and talked about what changes I might want, listened and came up with answers. He kept me in the loop throughout the build, and updates on when to expect him to arrive. I would have no hesitation in recommending him for any carpentry work based on the work he has done for me, so much so, I have asked him to quote for a couple of other jobs I need doing. Overall I am very pleased with the job.

We are a small but capable building company. The images attached to my profile shows our current project. 6 new homes in Dursley. These are 5x 3 story homes and 1x 2 story home. This project has been completed over the last 14 months with some major structural complications that we have over come with skill and perseverance. 3 types of retaining walls implemented to help secure the land. Complicated foundations, both in depth and location. 36 pile foundations at a depth of 9 meters. My company can provide a structural engineer, architect, our own in house Gas safe engineer and all the trades to complete your project no matter how small or big. For those that require it we are registered with Advantage Structural Warranty allowing us the ability to offer a 10year structural warranty for new builds.
