Ben contacted me promptly and gave me a quote over the phone - he came the following day to do the job and sent photos and a video of the work - everything was left clean and tidy. We made a mistake by hiring Plumb Monkey for this job. The cost of the job doubled as soon as our old bathroom unit had been removed and the standard of their work leaves a lot to be desired. The shower unit leaks, the sink taps were not installed properly, the silicone beading was done very poorly, the toilet wobbles, the tile grout cracked within two weeks of them leaving the job. Basic errors were made on the first fix which needed to be remediated. Nice enough guys but not very skilled plumbers/bathroom

A SUMMARY of issues follows. 1 - Plastering done is uneven. 2 - Did not allow plaster to dry before painting walls so already peeling off. 3 - Found number of areas where holes had been left, and had these not been pointed out would have been left. 4 - Wood not sanded before painting, incl. new skirting boards. 5 - Threats when I refused to pay!

We have an experienced and disciplined team who have worked on hundreds of projects throughout London, from small jobs to larger more complex tasks such as bathroom renovations and kitchen installation, hardwood flooring, roofing ,complete renovations.
They gave me some really useful advice regarding me bing my washing machine which included the reality of lifting my floor and some kitchen cabinets. I will certainly re contact them again when I have the money together for a full kitchen makeover.. it seems silly to do what I wanted on its own.
