I have been in the trade for 22 years. I worked for dulux before I set up on my own 10 years ago. I undertake all aspects of internal/external painting and decorating with a professional, friendly and reasonably priced service. Pawel and his partner Mariusz were excellent. They installed composite decking using pedestals on 3 separate roof terraces with decking lights installed on the largest terrace. The work was to a really high standard with a lot of care taken over each part to make sure it was perfect. They were both extremely hard working, polite, tidy and very fairly priced. The guarantee was given to me whilst I was there and I received my invoice quickly after payment.
I have 18 years experience working for a building company that does insurance claims. And now I have been self employed for 6 years. I have public liability insurance.
Unfortunately I couldn’t recommend Neil, original quote was £160 plus materials, (1 day job) took him 6 hours to do 10% of the job and ended up asking him to leave as it was going to cost a fortune to keep him on to finish the work. Also quoted £50 - £70 for materials and then in an email quoted it £135. He seems a nice guy but the quality of work was not acceptable for the price.
