Darren provided practical solutions to an unusual build, and a proper estimate. As the work was about to start the spec' changed a few times, and Darren was helpful with that. We agreed a new price and signed a straightforward agreement. Security was never an issue - we had no issue with giving Darren keys and access. He turned up when he said he would and always went through the issues of the day and the progress of the day on site and on the phone. The project has worked out really well, and it has been a very good working relationship. We have no hesitation in recommending Darren - he was helpful throughout, including managing the occassional curved ball. He runs work from a joinery led perspective, and has a wide range of understanding about the other trades and what should happen when. A pleasure to work with!

Reece did a great job replacing an old flat roof on our house. When he came out to quote he explained everything that he thought should be done and took pictures/videos for us so that we could understand the issue. All work as carried out to a high standard, as I live 140 miles away I had to leave the key with them and all of the work was completed when they said it would be, there is one small touch up job where a hole had not been filled (by another contractor) after the removal of a down lighter and they have offered to pop back in to just finish the painting so all in all very happy. nic.

PB installed a new Velux window where an old skylight had been positioned. The job turned out to be more complicated than first anticipated. However, PBs staff stayed as long as the task took (working into the dark and coming back the next day) and charged no extra. They were punctual, polite, friendly, and professional and the job was reasonably priced.
