I engaged Ronaldo and his family to decorate the landing, stairs and downstairs rooms of my terraced house. He is a very personable chap who seems eager to please. The re-plastering and wallpapering were done to a high standard and look great. Sadly, the painting was not as good: minimal sanding and filling left previous surface defects apparent even though paint was applied thickly in an effort to cover them up. There was a problem with the paint drying, remaining wet for several days.

We hired ES Electrical to fit our new Kitchen and also added a toilet and shower unit downstairs. We recently had Jay come to replace our radiators, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. He arrived on time, worked efficiently, and made sure everything was fitted perfectly. Jay was also very respectful of the space, kept things tidy, and even took the opened packaging of the radiators with him. The new radiators look and perform great thanks to his skill. Andy chose an FD30 door. He asked for £250 in advance which I paid as he seemed trustworthy. He trimmed the door and has damaged top and bottom. No peephole as promised. The door is of no use as it does not comply to Fire Regs in many ways despite his assurances and can't be fixed. It is not self-closing, the gaps along the sides and top are too wide, a bit of the fame is missing where he removed the old lock. The intumescent strip is not properly attached. He is demanding more money on top of his quote.
