Really disappointed. Lovely guy, good workmanship but unbelievably unreliable. You have to chase really hard, he will tell you he's coming and then nothing. No communication, no arrival and no work. Started a job for us in August, it's now January and not complete. Given up on him. If you want a 2 week job to take 5 months and still be incomplete.....then he's highly recommended.

Very pleased with newly installed sliding patio doors. The 2 gentlemen who installed it, were polite,friendly and helpful. They left the area clean and tidy. There was a slight problem with the lock, and they duly reported it to Louis Harbison. He came today to replace it but the barrel of the lock seems ok now. He is keeping the replacement barrel in case I have any more trouble. I would recommend this company for any work to be done

We have over 100years experience in the electrical trade under our belts combined and I grew up helping out both my grandfather and father to earn my pocket money. Now at the age of 35 and nearly 20 years experience myself I’ve decided to set up third generation electrical and put all the knowledge we have gained to good use in and around Bristol, the company is new and it’s just me working atm but who knows where we could be in 2019?? He quoted £100,000 to do the job in 6 weeks & promised it would be stress free, At 12 weeks in He was told I no longer wanted him to complete the job as I received an electric shock from a socket that was left as a bare cable protruding from the wall. He blamed everybody else then fired the only two decent builders as he held them responsible. Even though I had paid the third stage payment a day previous, I was too distressed and my health was declining due to the anxiety and stress he had caused. Avoid!!
I have been trading as MJ Griifiths for nearly 30 years now . My father was a gas engineer and I initially trained with him and got my City & Guilds qualifications. I branched into building a few years later in a partnership with a school friend who was a carpenter. Together we estabalished a Building , plumbing and heating company covering all aspects of the trade. The partnership no longer exists but M J Griffiths does ! Its fair to say that I am a very experienced all rounder who specalises in Heating and plumbing, all gas work and servicing , bathroom installations etc . We mainly only carry out associated building works now a days to go along with say a bathroom installation where we would do studwork, boarding , skimming , carpentry, tiling etc. My company does not have to use other trades for things like this enabling us to keep costs down with no delays waiting for other trades. My son James has qualified as a gas engineer 6 years ago and has worked with me for 10 years. Now we have on board my youngest son Max as an apprentice , studying at Trowbridge college on day release. We install Worcester boilers if possible and are due to be Worcester acredited this autumn . We also install other makes of boilers if the budget requires. We also specalize in design , supply and installation of bathrooms. We take the strain , not our customers !

Mark was professional and accomodating throughout and his building skills came in very handy in making good following the removal of our old boiler, meaning that we didn't have to find a seperate builder to do that side of things.
