Joe came to view on Saturday and has just finished carrying out the work required to a high professional standard. Minor additional faults with the roof were completed at the same time. I can highly recommend this company for all roofing work on both modern and period structures. Thanks Joe
They said they would take almost all day, but then announced they'd finished after 90 minutes (allowing for 30 minutes when they went away to buy petrol). They hacked a hydrangea I asked them not to touch, left many weeds and fallen leaves, cut off the tops of shrubs without attempting any shaping, and left one tall shrub untrimmed. Then they charged me £350 for 90 minutes of work by two men and a boy.

I would definitely recommend. I love the new porch, and it makes me smile when coming home. Dave was very helpful, and talked about what changes I might want, listened and came up with answers. He kept me in the loop throughout the build, and updates on when to expect him to arrive. I would have no hesitation in recommending him for any carpentry work based on the work he has done for me, so much so, I have asked him to quote for a couple of other jobs I need doing. Overall I am very pleased with the job.

After two phone conversations, we agreed on a specific date for the work to begin. Unfortunately, the contractor did not turn up, even though I had taken a day off work specifically for the installation. Communication was also very poor, with messages going unanswered and no clear notice that the appointment would not go ahead. Overall, this was very unprofessional and resulted in nothing but a waste of my time.
