I am a fully qualified electrician - certifications are: Building regulations 18th edition PAT testing Fundamental inspection and testing Initial verification Condition reporting and DEI2020. I also hold certificates in Asbestos awareness Working at heights Lone working First aid I have also had manufacturer training from Oto stairlifts Wessex Lifts Prism medical I also have a clean/current DBS/CRB Check I am a full time Ceiling Track Hoist and Mobility Solutions installation engineer. My day job entails ensuring secure fixings to ceilings and walls. These fixings are secure enough to support people unto 200kg. Due to this role I have developed great experience in making strong fixings, things like shelves, curtain rails and televisions are straight forward now! Im now 31 years old, and hoping to buy a new house with my partner this year, so hope to use this platform to get some evening work to strengthen our deposit! I have put my primary trade as handyman, as although I am an electrician I have been in the trade for a number of years and can turn a hand to most domestic site work. From coffee tables and chairs to staircases, floors and grand pianos, I have done it all. Colour matching, change of use and change of design. Government contracts in the past, included various departments from department of business to health (usually indirectly). Also RAF dance floor to royal navy officer training head office, all when I was living nearer London. I have been in this business since leaving school, and intend to continue while I still can because I have a 3 year old daughter at a rather late age. In the 1970s when I started most people were doing domestic furniture in this trade, I however was trained on government department jobs as well as domestic jobs. In those days most polishing jobs were dark traditional colours, by the late 80s to early naughties they were more natural colours and more recently lighter than natural. Perhaps you require fitted furniture or architectural joinery changes, such as doors and frames to blend with carpets or curtains. Send a photo and let's see what can be done.
