I am a self employed Carpenter and Joiner and specialise in fitting kitchens, bespoke/built-in furniture and storage solutions and laying wooden flooring. I also work with a small team on larger projects, consisting of me, a fully qualified plumber, a fully qualified electrician, a plasterer and tiler and a decorator. As a team we fit Bathrooms, Large Kitchens, and undertake Full House Renovations. Sadly as much as the extension looks fine on the outside, there have been too many issues behind the scenes that we have had to get remedied, which has been a huge additional ongoing cost to us. The team are not experts and will not do a thorough job. We have recently had to deal with a big health and safety electrical issue due to their inability to do things properly. We now wish we that we had engaged someone else.

Solomon replied to my ad very quickly which was great and he managed to get the heating working in my flat, which it hadn't been. However, the fault light on my boiler came back on shortly after he left and he hasn't been able to provide a report on what issue needs fixing for me to be able to follow up on. He also wouldn't pre confirm an hourly rate or agree costs upfront. He was however very friendly and helpful, if he can provide a report and rectify the issue then I'd happily use him again.
