One to be careful with is the electrician Ben. The work seems alright, but his advise left us with excessive lighting in Kitchen and sitting room and our decision against TV sockets in ALL rooms was interpreted as NO TV and phone socket at all, which then later had to be added at extra cost and left the choice of suppliers limited. His crew also did the plumbing and the bathroom installation and the later was not done to the general standard of U&U constructions work.

Once the breathability of the property is compromised damp issues will occur. We offer damp assessments for your property with a full report to guide you in the right direction eradicating current and future damp issues. Our assessments cost: £140 including guidance and a full report which details the source(s) of the damp & mould, how to eradicate the issues. - Lime rendering & plastering with horse hair. - Lime pointing. - Masonry repairs. - Paint removal using the Thermatech hot steam cleaning system. - Brick/stone feature walls. - lime wash - Breathable Painting. - lime plaster/render We often work with conservation officers from the authorities to ensure our works are of the highest standards.

The work completely was of a very high standard with immaculate attention to details. Jerry was punctual from the survey stage to the end of the work. He sorted little snags with the wall, separated the work area with a plastic sheet so the dust was minimised. After each day, my home was left clean and the job was progressing well.
