James Butler also trades as CGS Landscapes. He paved my driveway with poor quality slabs in September 2024 blaming the manufacturer and not himself. More broken slabs has been replaced by him 3 times in 6 months. He has refused to respond to my calls. He texted back calling me. STUPID when I texted him to say I will report him to RatedPeople and the authorities. More slabs broke 2 days ago. Sent him the picture. He simply texted back: MOVED TO DEVON NO LONGER WORKING. Please don’t hire James Butler.

I have more than 5 years' experience as a professional handyman, however, if you count all he jobs I've done around the house and for friends over the years, then this increases to 25 years plus of DIY experience . I qualified as a 17th edition domestic installer in August 2017. I will also do minor plumbing, carpentry, electrical and other odd jobs.

The paving slab steps leading to our front door needed urgently replacing. Then we identified that the supporting brickwork wasn't in great condition. Dajland made the supporting structure secure and removed and replaced all our slabs, including doing a tricky cutout. Communication was great and the cost was very reasonable. The biggest thing I can praise is Dajland's attention to detail. He works carefully, methodically but also very quickly. A genuine professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

We hired ES Electrical to fit our new Kitchen and also added a toilet and shower unit downstairs. After an initial very swift reply and quote that was hundreds of pounds less than others there was an initial visit followed by weeks of no contact. After chasing there was another visit and then 3 months of no replying to messages. Suspect he quoted too low but a massive waste of time.
