My partner Sara is a very accomplished designer and painter and decorator. I have worked for the electricity board for many years and have industrial and home electrical nstallation experience. Showers, electric heating, underfloor heating, extra sockets, rewires, lighting, fuse boards, etc My son has just undertaken a 6 week plastering course, and with myself being self trained and helping, I am also trying to build up his business profile We are highly trustworthy and give a very fair price, We do not like or want to rip people off. I am happy to do emergency or weekend work. I also worked as a kitchen/bathroom fitter for John Lewis for a number of years and therefore am very conscientious of the quality of work expected from high-end clients. John did do a good job when he decided to turn up. However, he was not reliable and would always ask for money upfront..Also , he never came back to finish the job, even though he was paid to.

Really great work in tidying up my garden. Grafted hard to clean out the weeds, trimmed down my tree and hedges, and took all the waste away. All this during a very wet day. They said they would take almost all day, but then announced they'd finished after 90 minutes (allowing for 30 minutes when they went away to buy petrol). They hacked a hydrangea I asked them not to touch, left many weeds and fallen leaves, cut off the tops of shrubs without attempting any shaping, and left one tall shrub untrimmed. Then they charged me £350 for 90 minutes of work by two men and a boy.
