Ben’s journey in construction started at an early age. He grew up on construction sites alongside his father, who had a long-standing background in construction and worked directly on government projects. This gave Ben an early understanding of construction that came from being around real projects, real trades and the realities of building. He later studied Architecture, developing a deeper understanding of design, structure and how buildings come together. During this time, his passion for timber and craftsmanship became particularly strong. He discovered that what interested him most was not only designing buildings, but actually creating them. Before establishing NOAH Construction, Ben also gained experience working for leading construction companies, where he was exposed to projects worth millions of pounds and was involved in works with values reaching approximately £10 million. This experience gave him an understanding of the organisation, standards and responsibility required on larger construction projects. NOAH Construction was then established as a way to build something of his own. In just three years, the company has progressed from delivering smaller projects to successfully undertaking works ranging from approximately £50,000 to £1 million in value. Today, Ben combines three important parts of his background: hands-on construction experience from an early age, architectural education, and experience working within larger-scale construction environments. His particular passion remains timber and craftsmanship, but his approach to construction goes beyond one material or trade. George completed a job on our garage conversion and window installation from start to finish and the result is really excellent, just what we wanted. His work was of a v high standard, he project managed the whole job, agreeing every step with us. He used other tradespeople where needed but did most of the work himself and always left the place clean and secure. His pricing and timescales were spot on with the original estimate. I recently had a mansard loft conversion and a two storey rear extension completed by Home Shape Ltd. Overall, I am very pleased with the work they have done. Daniel and his team did a fantastic job on my one bed flat. They painted it from top to bottom in two days. They were professional, friendly and efficient. Very clean and they moved the furniture for me and put it all back where I wanted it. They really went above and beyond and I couldn’t be more pleased. Price was competitive although not the cheapest I was quoted but their quote was more detailed, and they provided receipts for the cost of the materials. Highly recommend!
