George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. The job was posted on 22nd July 2025 and Wade Ellis of Ellis Roofing And Building Ltd responded 2 days later. After a survey, I received a quote on 26th July, which was accepted. A skip arrived on 29th July and the work commenced next day. The job was completed on 1st August. The bricklayer and his female trainee assistant got on with the job without any fuss, and they were very pleasant to deal with. The aim of the project has been delivered and I am very happy with the result. I recommend them. 5 stars!

We have our own architects and structural engineers who provide all the required details for extensions, conversions and new builds. APL also organise all site visits with building inspectors to give customers peace of mind and a hassle free service. At M&A we use our own 3D CAD system in order to design any new kitchens we are to supply and install, we can include these in to Architecht plans to give you a visual of the room once completed. All our kitchens are high standard and all our doors we use are FIRA gold approved, we mainly use painted doors but if you want a more of a budget door we can use the vinyl wrap doors. About myself: I have been in the Joinery and building industry for 20 years with a huge vast experience in all trades and I know what to expect from various tradesmen from a finishing point. All electrical work and gas work is all completed by approved and qualified tradesmen. My main trade is joinery but in the 20 years of being in the building game I have gained the experience in each aspect in the building game which has its advantages when project managing a job whilst being on site working. Martin is certainly the most honest, realistic and trustworthy trades person I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. We’ve renovated a few properties over the years dealt with dozens of tradespeople, both good and bad and Martin sits at the top of the good pile. He had a passion for the job, charged a reasonable price and showed knowledge and commitment. I cannot recommend Steve and his amazing tradesman We went from being offered a ridiculously low settlement by the insurance to eventually having a completely new downstairs including new floors,electrics and kitchen Steve is also able to navigate you through the insurance process including emergency accommodation and disturbance allowance. Can't thank them enough it took 8 months but we have our amazing home back

We cover all aspects of Groundworks and this is what most people can't do or just don't like the hard work . Footings , Extensions to Roofing , we recently attended Firestone rubber roofing course and they will insure it for 20 years through ourselves , felt has had it's day ! We are fully insured and offer only Quality work , straight talking , honest people , you won't be disappointed in us For the work we can not do we have qualified Electricians & Plumbers that we work with all with correct certs ect .

Don't hire - he quotes price (that then increases once he's started work), doesn't show up for weeks on end - despite promises to come, Then, after payment, disappears and ghosts the customer leaving the job unfinished - AVOID!

Hi I'm Neil Kell Im a multi semi skilled handyman/builder I undertake all kinds of internal and external work on properties ex gas or major electrics I do small domestic electrical work and cover all work in the home Including small jobs ie putting flat pack furniture together fitting blinds curtains no matter how small as well as doing a loft Conversion. And every job has to be done to the highest standard within a sufficient time scale to first class finish as the finish of my work is my business card creating good word of mouth and good reviews.
