Craig got in touch quickly, gave me a rough estimate over the phone and answered all my questions. Surveyor arrived on time, gave instant quote. Price was good. George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. I found the biggest problem when arranging for work was only about a quarter of tradesmen who I contacted actually wanted to come and look at the job. Then they would give you a quote off the top of their heads with hardly any details. The exception was Metro who gave a full quote detailing exactly what the quote included. Once deal agreed they turned up every day at 8am and carried out the work to a high standard. There were some issues but they were soon resolved without argument. Recommended.

This company was a nightmare to deal with. I have never experienced such amateur and inefficient work. They spent more time getting “ materials “ than actually doing the job. The bathroom renovation should have taken 2 days. Admittedly there were a few unforeseen problems. But basically just taking out and refitting sink and toilet. Their workmen were awful. They took over twice the time they should have. Also they never finished. The bath is still leaking. The sealant finish is amateur

Chris and John and crew were hard working and brilliant. They turned up on time and made light work of putting in double steels making sure everything was done. When building control requested added work, they had no problems getting it sorted. Hard working team cleaned up each evening. Great job. Price was reasonable.
