Cliff, he was efficient, reliable, well priced and an excellent tradesman. We called him in to repair a chimney breast and fix our garage which was leaking. However, I paid a deposit for the work, the job was never started, communication stopped, despite me reaching out via phone and email, and I never received my deposit back. Highly disappointing after a great experience the first time round. I would not recommend.

Tony was the only tradesman to reply,he sent a picture and a quote via text which was fine but told him I would get back to I'm when I had other quotes. I contacted him today to say I didn't want a upvc door I preferred wood and needed new frame so he said he would call this afternoon to have a look at the job as he was in the area but then he messaged back to say he had to go to another appointment and hoped I would get the job with another tradesman which were both checkatrade so will use them

Job didn't last long, started leaking again when it rained heavy. wasted money. Another company looked at the chimney and flat roof and politely described the job as done by cons, using this site to get quick cash from urgent jobs, which if not done professionally costs more in the long run. The banter is part of the deception.

Very unhappy with work completed. Unsafe working practices by team. Roof has more leaks than prior to works starting Damage to asbestos panels Poor workmanship Optimal roofing now ignoring my attempts to contact them. I have had a full house refurb using many contractors and have never experienced anything resembling the appalling standards set by Optimal or their lack of attempt to resolve . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am now 1k out of pocket and will have to pay another contractor to fix damage caused

Harry and the guys came round quickly and gave us a quote, as we could not see what was going on as it was the roof he took photos and videos to show what the problem was.
