Over all, an excellent job was done although due to poor weather, a three day job became a three week one. Several unseen problems became apparent during this work, but everything was explained and reasons given for delays / further expense. Time keeping wasn’t great as on many occasions they’d arrive after 09:00 and would have gone by 16:00 at the latest. However, very satisfied with the result.

He organised all the relevant building regs applications etc, I didn’t have to get involved, and made sure I was happy with everything before he left. I have been involved in the electrical mechanical and general building trades for over 35 years. I have not over the years taken pictures of (wires sorry a bit boring...) my electrical, plumbing, or mechanical work as this is not something you really think of when sorting out leaks or fault finding electrical issues etc. I have recently joined this web site and have found some conversion work pictures for a garage conversion. I am extremely neat and tidy in my work, and have very high standards. I have worked for the Royal Household designing and fitting lighting for the queen in St James palace. The work undertaken by Derek of CFJ Services comprised simply replacing two two broken tiles on the roof of the house although one tile needed to be cut to fit. Derek is a pleasant character and an experienced tiler and was able to both quote and undertake the work on the spot at the same time as his visit. The work was done quickly and efficiently and I would certainly ask him to do any further work on my roof. His price was equal or less than the other two trades people who quoted
