Amazing service From Alen and his team. His quote beat the competition by far, but without any compromise on the windows. We were only planning to have new wooden double glazed windows for the front of the house, but were actually able to have new windows for the whole house. Alen also made suggestions which we had not thought about. He said we would have beautiful new windows and he has delivered. Clean, polite and kept informed throughout the process. Main task of laying wood was top class. Reasons for the mixed review: - As part of cost, was promised beading that would colour match the wood, but he turned up with different colour beading and it was left to me to varnish it - door needed to be trimmed because the wooden floor was at a raised height - was cut incorrectly. He promised to return and fix the door and lay a bridge to the carpeted hallway if I paid him in full which I did. Despite me following up, he never returned which I find dishonest.

I have grown up on a construction site and have always had a good hand in lead ever since I was 4 years old. I had worked with my father doing plumbing and by the time I was 13 years old I was a part time partner in his company, I further went to college and qualified in level 2 NVQ Plumbing and had carried a full-term apprenticeship, creating a portfolio. Once finishing my qualifications I became a full time partner in my father’s general building company which entailed doing, extensions, refurbs, plumbing and heating, kitchen & bathroom refurbishments, new builds, roofing and lead work. Workmen friendly and the work they carried out was to a reasonable standard. BUT they let themselves down when it came to getting them back to finish the job as bad weather prevented them from completing. I had to do all the chasing and they made excuses why they couldn’t return and now they aren’t responding to either text or email. Should have realised when they wanted payment for the work carried out on day 1 - in hindsight I don’t think they ever intended on returning.
