No one ever rang me to give me a quote.
Carpenter / Joiner
I would definitely recommend. I love the new porch, and it makes me smile when coming home. Dave was very helpful, and talked about what changes I might want, listened and came up with answers. He kept me in the loop throughout the build, and updates on when to expect him to arrive. I would have no hesitation in recommending him for any carpentry work based on the work he has done for me, so much so, I have asked him to quote for a couple of other jobs I need doing. Overall I am very pleased with the job.
Over 30 years roofing and property maintenance experience. No job too big or too small. A good standard of workmanship and will guarantee all our work. Reliability is key. we have expanded the area's we will work to Monmouth and Herefordshire, has we want to give customers peace of mind when looking for a reliable roofer with a wealth of knowledge, experience and satisfaction knowing that a professional job is carried out . cpm roofing is the first name you should be looking for when choosing a reputable roofer. i would also like to thank all my regular customers that keep using us at cpm wales
I would throughly recommend CPM Wales. They carried our repairs to some ridge tiles on the hip end of our roof. Ian, the owner, was competent and professional in the work carried out. I found him obliging and pleasant. Cost was reasonable.
Mon Roofing and Building Contractors have been going for near enough 20years. i started up as a roofing and building only buisnes but over the years grew to contracting projects ie extensions , annexes, new builds ext. i have an impressive portfolio and have not used the rated people platform since 2014 . but due to not going for the larger project have now come back on here to look for smaller contracts.
Arwel stood out from the other contractors who applied to do the job because he visited before quoting and made some additional recommendations. He replaced guttering, some loose root tiles and also recommended that we use some protective edging that he also installed. Roof looks great.

JHD Roofing&Building is a local family room business going for more than 25 years of taught experience
Poor communication - didn’t turn up when originally they said and I had to chase to see if they were still interested. Job was ok (small job) but main chap was quite rude and aggressive. Would definitely not recommend.
I am a tradesman with 20+ years of experience in a broad range of construction skills. My carpentry skills include boat work, decks, commercial shopfitting, residential refurbishments and custom jobs. My plumbing skills extend from first fix through to full bathroom/kitchen remodels as well as CCTV drain inspections and repair. I can also turn my hand to flooring including tiling, laminates, etc., and I'm happy to quote on general handyman work, garden projects and fencing.

Very unhappy with work completed. Unsafe working practices by team. Roof has more leaks than prior to works starting Damage to asbestos panels Poor workmanship Optimal roofing now ignoring my attempts to contact them. I have had a full house refurb using many contractors and have never experienced anything resembling the appalling standards set by Optimal or their lack of attempt to resolve . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am now 1k out of pocket and will have to pay another contractor to fix damage caused
