In a nutshell Mr Scales was god sent! I urgently needed decking done to an unusually shaped area of the garden and also tidying up of some unfinished work by a previous workman. Kevin did a remarkable job with the lot. He arrived at the times he said he would, waited to discuss anything he thought I needed to consent on and was very careful not to damage any of my pots & plants. He completed the work in the time he estimated & understood my tight schedule. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!

A skilled craftsman with many years experience who loves his job! David is a lovely, friendly man who listened to exactly what we wanted and looked after us to the best of his expert ability. We were extemely pleased with his work. Very highly recommended.

John was very helpful in explaining the advantages and disadvantages and prices of different Velux windows. He and his son were reliable, worked very hard, cleaned up well afterwards and the new windows look great. I definitely recommend J5 Roofing. Marian

Yet another triumph for the two Gary's! In less than two days they have transformed a front garden I was ashamed of to one I can be proud of and that people comment on. An unwieldy hedge was quickly removed and taken away, ditto the untidy gravel and replaced with very neat and attractive blocks. I've already arranged for some inside work to be done in the summer . . .

Clive and Andy have done a fantastic damp proofing job, totally reliable and a pleasure to have met. I have already spoken with my neighbours regarding them as I can absolutely recommend them and their work. They left everything so tidy as well, even cleaned their own tea cups! very hard working team of well qualified builders/tradesman. I am definitely going to call upon their services again in the future. They listened to me and carried out all the extra jobs I asked them to do. They even came back few days later to finish off the grinding on the plaster work. Did an excellent job of rendering the raised plant beds - even though it took slightly longer than anticipated due to weather conditions I was kept informed and the work came in as per budget. Would highly recommend for similiar work.

Paints & Ladders with DDE Construction was hired to do a garage conversion. I chose them as they were the only company that offered an end to end service (i.e. design, council application, build,and paint) as I am extremely busy. They excelled in client relationship, as they took me through all the stages of the development their design really focused on what was important to my family. I would really recommend them as they take pride in their work and always conduct themselves in a professional manner.
