Hi all, I am Daniel Hill and I have been a Painter and Decorator for about 8 years now. I first started at school in year 11 when I went to college one day a week to learn general maintenance skills. I then did 3 years there when I left school and did a General maintenance course and two painting and decorating courses. On my final year of college I got a job with a Painting firm where I was there for two years. During that time we painted church’s, offices, industrial units, shops and many other different projects. I then left to become my own boss and have never looked back. I have been self employed for just over 6 years and enjoy my work. I provide a friendly and reliable service and take pride in my work. Very bad I paid £120 for wallpaper to do a media wall which he told me he can do and it would be £200 i agree he was there 3hours and paper never matched little to short bubbles ect very sad to see this kind of work he was given me advice on how to do it which was to his benefit but was really bad I had to strip it all of the very next day. I don’t think i would believe his reviews to be honest

Really disappointing! Started off good, Mitchell got in touch and quoted for the job by the photos, he didn’t come out to quote. I was happy with the quote so I said go ahead and as he said he could do the job in 2 weeks I removed my post thinking great I’ve found the person for the job. 2 weeks later no sign of Mitchell or a reply to my emails asking when he’s planning to start the work so now I have to start the process again. Poor show from Mitchell or a no show, as it would appear

Made a total mess of a small extension. Quoted 2 weeks and after 7 I sacked him off as we were going nowhere. Massive list of his work didn’t comply with building regs and ended up fitting a purlin to roof as he used wrong sized joists. I now have bits of roof hanging off after max 30 mph winds Even managed to cock guttering up so down pipe is nowhere near drains. Roof leaking and I have had to sack him off and pay another load of cash to a set of lads who can do the job. Avoid or he’ll bankrupt you
