Placed advert Thursday. Contacted same day by Mike with a view to coming out and quoting next day. Came on time priced the job on Friday and arranged to start work on the Tuesday. Mike worked with his son Silas. What a really nice pair. Genuine, polite and got on with the job even though I asked for a few tweaks along the way. Both very old school and worked at their own pace - happy with work carried out and will use them again. Reasonable price too.

Left me with a massive headache. Fitted oak cladding to stairs. Misaligned ballistrade, needs taking out. Many of the steps creak, quarterlanding creaks, (did not before). Joinery badly cut with no scribing. Damaged plaster where wood cut in situ. Left many holes in wall where handrail put up more than once because at wrong height. Removed a newel post, and joined ballustrade at 90 degrees - unsafe and against building regs. Left huge messes everywhere for us to clear up on several days. Took ages over the

We told Pedro what we wanted and he did some CGI images for us, we chatted on the phone about stuff and also things we liked. His attention to detail was brilliant, he worked quickly and kept us up to date with the projects development with pictures. Nothing was too much trouble, and we couldn't be happier with the completed job. In fact we have divided this project in two, phase one is now done and we will start phase two early next year. Daniel replaced 5 internal doors handles and realined the bathroom door. A quick response and quote for the job and turned up on time . Gave good advice which saved me a bit money. The work was carried out as agreed. Happy customer.

We hired SJC Contracts to build and install a staircase to service three floors. Right from the off, Simon was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, professional, helpful and full of great ideas and options. His work is of a very high standard and he worked hard to get everything “just right”. The sales person, Mark went through everything in meticulous detail. The team who fitted it did it in one day and the price was very reasonable. I was over the moon with this. We have had some bad weather in the last couple of weeks and so far everything seems OK. I would also say the house feels a little warmer already!

Iurie was swift to respond and attend. His work ethic was good and so was the skirting. The only setback was tidying up after himself. Aside from this, he was good to have around and offered his services for other work.

They were really professional compared to the other builders that came and contacted me. The Project Manager was also on hand to answer any questions I had and offered me adviced on how best to move forward. We ended up refurbishing our entire bathroom which is looking great now. I would highly recommend London Builders.

Stanley & his team originally came on board to build us a new rear extension which would house our kitchen as well as fit a new bathroom but as the project developed it ended up being near enough an entire house renovation and we're thrilled with the results. We still have work we would like to do to the outside of the house as well as a loft conversion and when we have enough money to take on those projects, we would definitely re-hire Stanley and his team. Highly recommend Stanley & his team.
