Experienced builder NEW TO RATED PEOPLE ???? Hi everyone. I’m Mitch, I’ve been in the trade since leaving school. I am a general builder that specialises in timber work. I do most jobs from small jobs like laminate flooring all the way upto 2 storey extensions. For the larger jobs I have a reliable team of builders including electricians, plumbers and bricklayers. I'm a self employed Carpenter and Joiner that has been in the building trade for over 30 years. I cover everything involved in wood from fitting Kitchens and solid wood floors to loft conversions with velux windows. I also make hardwood windows, doors and staircases. We recently had our subfloor replaced and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The carpenter was friendly, professional, and clearly very skilled. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and made sure the work was carried out to a high standard. The new subfloor is solid, level, and has made a huge difference to the room. It's great to find a tradesperson who is reliable, turns up when they say they will, and takes pride in their work. I would highly recommend him!!

An outstanding trades person. I posted the job in February but had to save up before the work could be done. Phil waited and he did the work for me in June. The weather was very hot but that didn't stop Phil from getting on with the job ,nor did problems he encountered .. He is a problem solver and repaired the problem before finishing his own job and he cleaned up at the end of each day. 5 stars .

Made a total mess of a small extension. Quoted 2 weeks and after 7 I sacked him off as we were going nowhere. Massive list of his work didn’t comply with building regs and ended up fitting a purlin to roof as he used wrong sized joists. I now have bits of roof hanging off after max 30 mph winds Even managed to cock guttering up so down pipe is nowhere near drains. Roof leaking and I have had to sack him off and pay another load of cash to a set of lads who can do the job. Avoid or he’ll bankrupt you
