Lee Warburton from Lock Hub made an arrangement to visit for a quote, but never arrived and made no attempt to inform me. I then contacted him to arrange another visit for a quote and once again he never turned up, even though I checked with him the day before to ensure that he would honour the arrangement. Consequently, I find it hard to trust someone who does not meet their obligations .

You hear of so many 'horror stories' about tradespeople who you invite into your home and put your trust in them to fix whatever has gone wrong. I definitely chose the most reliable, honest and hardworking to replace my ceiling and plaster after a leak and the complete dismantling of my ceiling. Chas was honest from the start, explained exactly what his plan was, and stuck to it, He kept me informed, turned up on time and never stopped, although a very messy job. Reasonable prices, happy to work on a day rate or a fixed price basis. Very approachable and easy to work with, good communication skills. Polite and respectful in people's homes. Have a well equipped van and happy to do small jobs. As well as larger projects.

We recently had our subfloor replaced and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The carpenter was friendly, professional, and clearly very skilled. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and made sure the work was carried out to a high standard. The new subfloor is solid, level, and has made a huge difference to the room. It's great to find a tradesperson who is reliable, turns up when they say they will, and takes pride in their work. I would highly recommend him!!
